Experience Heritage in a Bowl Throughout July Weekends ( Friday, Saturday, Sunday) This July, BKC London’s acclaimed Biryani Diaries series takes an elegant turn toward the royal courts of Awadh. Step away from the heavy masalas and discover the subtle, profound art of a true masterpiece: The Awadhi Yakhni Pulao. Unlike traditional layered biryanis, the magic of our Yakhni Pulao lies in absolute patience and culinary restraint. Our chefs begin by slow-simmering prime cuts of meat and simmer in whole aromatics fennel, coriander, ginger, and cardamom—for hours to create an intensely rich, clear bone broth (Yakhni). Premium, long-grain basmati rice is then cooked directly in this essence, allowing every single grain to absorb the deep, complex flavors from the inside out. The result is a beautifully elegant, pale-golden rice dish that is incredibly fragrant, profoundly comforting, and topped with fall-off-the-bone tender meat and crispy fried onions. Available exclusively for weekend dining throughout July at both our Soho and Marble Arch locations.
