From My Kitchen to Yours - The Heart Behind the Supper Club
By Head Chef Arsh Thakur
At BKC, food has always been more than what’s on the plate - it’s about how it makes you feel. The BKC Supper Club was born from that belief: to bring the flavours of home that comfort, connect, and remind us of who we are. It’s about the stories we grew up with, the recipes that never left our family kitchens, and the joy of sharing them in a new city that now feels like home.
We begin this journey on 2nd November with Sohini Banerjee, whose cooking carries the warmth of Bengal - mustard smoke, gondhoraj lime, and a love that lingers. Together, we bring a piece of India’s heart to London - one supper, one story, one shared memory at a time.

Mustard oil. Gondhoraj lime. Jaggery’s soft sweetness. Every dish on Sohini Banerjee’s Supper Club menu carries the scent of home - from South Kolkata Phuchka with Aloo Dum and Mochar Chop to Kashundi Narkol Fish, Niramish Mangsho, and the sweet finale of Makha Sondesh and Khejur Gurer Payesh.
It’s an evening of comfort and craft - where every course tells a story, every spice recalls a memory, and every guest becomes part of the feast.

When Bengal meets Awadh, the kitchen turns into poetry. Chef Arsh Thakur and home-chef Sohini Banerjee come together for one extraordinary evening - blending Awadhi finesse with Bengali soul, mustard oil meeting saffron smoke, and memories shared over slow simmering pots.
What unfolds is more than collaboration - it’s connection. A table where flavours converse in dialects of heritage, and every bite feels like an embrace between two cities that cook with heart.

Wishing You a Diwali Filled with Light & Flavour 🪔✨
At BKC, Diwali isn’t just a festival - it’s a feeling. The scent of ghee and cardamom, the first crackle of fireworks, the laughter around the table - it all brings us home. Here’s to warm plates, glowing hearts and stories shared over chai and sweets.
From our family to yours - may this Diwali fill your world with the fragrance of joy, the sparkle of togetherness, and the sweetness of every celebration.
There’s a sweetness that lives in memory - the one that glistens under fairy lights and lingers on fingertips after every bite. Our Malai Ghewar brings that nostalgia to life - crisp honeycomb soaked in syrup, layered with creamy malai, and kissed with saffron.
It’s the taste of celebration, crafted for the season of light and love. Celebrate Diwali with sweetness that feels like home. Available only till 21st October.
There’s something about Tokri Chaat that takes you home - the laughter around roadside stalls, the cool swirl of yoghurt after a burst of spice, the crunch that reminds you of childhood fairs and family evenings before Diwali lights came on.
At BKC, we recreate that nostalgia with hand-shaped baskets, creamy curd, and a burst of festive flavour - a reminder of Indian evenings where laughter, lights, and chaat were never in short supply.
