BKC Supper Club 2.0 - A Night of Rajasthani Flavours
On 14th December at BKC Soho, Supper Club 2.0 brings the warmth and soul of Rajasthan to the heart of London. This edition celebrates a cuisine built on spice, tradition and stories - from the fire of Laal Maas to the comfort of Gatta Curry and Batti - Churma. It’s a winter day made for slow-cooked flavours and regional pride.
Led by Chef Arsh Thakur in collaboration with Chef Himanshu Verma, the menu revisits dishes shaped by childhood memory and festive kitchens. Expect Rajasthan’s signature depth, sweetness and heat all on one table - a one journey into a region whose food feels like home.

For our second Supper Club, we welcome Chef Himanshu Verma - a 26-year-old chef whose journey spans New Delhi, Dubai and now London. His earliest memory of cooking is making a cup of chai for his mother at the age of eight - a small moment that revealed the joy of feeding someone. From Indian street-food roots to training in modern European and Japanese kitchens, Himanshu carries a blend of tradition, technique and quiet nostalgia into everything he cooks.
For Supper Club 2.0, Himanshu collaborates with Chef Arsh Thakur to bring a Rajasthan-inspired menu close to both their hearts - Laal Maas, Gatta Curry, Batti–Churma, Khaman, Dhokla and Ghewar. These dishes echo festivals, family kitchens and the warmth of their childhoods. Two chefs retracing their roots, creating a menu shaped by memory, heritage and the flavours that raised them.

After a sold-out first supper club, we return on 14th December with a menu steeped in memory and nostalgia. Chef Arsh Thakur and Chef Himanshu Verma come together to revisit the Rajasthan they love - the slow heat of Laal Maas, the comfort of Gatta Curry, and the festival sweetness of Ghewar. These are flavours shaped in home kitchens, carried through generations, and brought to Soho for one special night.
What unfolds is a menu that feels handwritten by time – Dal – Batti - Churma like it’s made in village courtyards, Khaman and Dhokla recalling festive spreads, and Laal Maas cooked with the unmistakable fire of Mathania chillies. This is more than collaboration; it’s two chefs tracing their roots, honouring their stories, and inviting London to taste food from the city they love!

Kacchi Biryani - A Symphony of Spice, Slow-Cooked in Tradition First Chapter of Biryani Diaries - From Dhaka, With Love
Unlike its cooked-meat cousins, the Kacchi Biryani begins with raw, marinated lamb - infused with yogurt, nutmeg, mace, long green chillies, and browned onions - layered with fragrant rice, saffron, and ghee before being sealed and slow-cooked on dum. Every grain absorbs the marinade, every bite carries depth, warmth, and bold aroma.
A legacy from Dhaka’s wedding feasts and festival tables, this biryani is unctuous, celebratory, and unapologetically rich - made with care, tradition, and trust in time. Now at BKC, it’s our tribute to the kind of biryani that lingers in memory long after the last grain.
